Besides his love of golf, travel and almost anything outdoors the greatest joy in his life is his wife, Paula, and sons, Davis and Alex.
Davis was born and raised in Chico. Growing up with a father in the industry, Davis was always curious about finance. An elementary school project ignited his passion for the markets when he chose to invest in McDonald’s in the middle of the mad cow crisis.
Davis attended the University of Arizona where he quickly became president of the largest political club on campus. He went on to receive a degree in economics with the intention of following in his father’s footsteps. While in Arizona, Davis’ passion for golf led to him a career as a golf professional at Skyline Country Club. This provided the perfect landscape to learn how to manage a business and form long-lasting client relationships.
In 2020, Davis decided to return to Chico and join his father’s practice. With the opportunity to build their business together, they decided to open their own independent firm, Rich Financial.
Since returning to Chico, Davis has been an active member of the community; serving on the board of the Chico Concours d’Elegance and the Stansbury Home Preservation Association.
In his spare time, Davis enjoys playing golf and spending time outdoors with his fiancé, Rebecca, and Australian Shepherd, Hank.
